Using GIF’s to increase your Facebook Page engagement

When Social Media Examiner published their article on Facebook Polls with Animated GIF’s, I had to give it a try to see how it worked.

To be honest I hadn’t even noticed the option for polls was available and never thought about trying it with a GIF. Like how often do you really look at these Facebook features at the top of your page? If you are like me your eye skims over them.

Using Facebook Poll Option, and using GIFs to created attention

As Facebook grows so do some of their features. They add, remove and then add again. Creating a poll happens to be one of those features. But this time around it is a bit different, they’ve added GIF’s making it easier to capture the attention of your followers.

It is super easy to use and really you are only limited by your imagination. For example, if you are a realtor ask, do you like to rent or buy. If you are a restaurant owner ask, salad or fries. The options are limitless. You can either use a GIF or upload your own pictures and then you can send it out as an ad. What a way to get into the minds of your audience and potential customers.

Scheduling your Facebook poll

As you can see above, you can also set the poll to expire in one day, one week, never or customize it.

So I decided to give it a try and from what I can tell, it only works from mobile.

Create GIF's to grab attention from Facebook Fans

If you try this I would love to hear from you and what your results were.
